Part 3: Description of Venue
Theme Mood/Atmosphere
The game is a dark struggle for survival against a powerful foe, with the characters trying to retake the city from the sprits. Packs meet in secret, hoping that this night won’t be there last night. The city needs to be retaken; as word has it that the spirits have set their sights on expansion. The Pure have been seen on the western borders, so the quicker this is sorted the quicker forces can be amassed to deal with the pure threat. CityPatrol have offered sanctuary to whoever enters the area, but any one who brings the wrath of the spirit chorus to sanctuary will receive scorn.
Antagonists and Setting History
the werewolf in Newcastle are next to non-existent, with any that experience the change within the area chased away or even killed by the spirits in within. The area is under the control of three different choirs of spirits depending on which part of the city you are in. The Court of Sparks control most of the river side areas and most of Newcastle its self and claiming regency over the other both The Court of Urges and Elements at this point. But it was not always like this. There are currently a few known safe havens on the edges of the area for the forsaken to find shelter controlled by a pack called “citypatrole” but they are growing weak with the constant attacks from the spirits. The ‘patrol have fought many a ridden and embodiment of a spirit in the decades they have stood watch. With the city under there control they have the upper hand now, it is your job to plan for the next attack.
